Into your hands...........

Well the angels in heaven rejoiced Wednesday morning at 9:35 AM as they ushered my sweet Fran into the presence of our LORD. What a day to meet Jesus it was the kind of morning we enjoyed many days, quite blue sky, with a slight breeze outside and with her family at her side.

I am to heart broken to have much to say right now. But I will say that out of the mouths of babes God speaks. Our sweet daughter Emma summed up the day as we shared our evening meal with out Fran by saying "this has been a great day!" My reply was "it has been a great day. Why was it a great day for you?" She smiled at me with the sweetest twinkle in her eyes. "Mommy went home to be with Jesus!" Oh for the confidence and peace of a child I pray that I can keep that today and tomorrow as the shell of who Fran was is laid to rest.

I am not sure if I can come back here and post on Fran's behalf. So for now I leave you with one request and prayer please follow this link to the last song we will play at our Celebration of Life for Fran Saturday at noon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n14NKh9phU I am blessed of God to have had the privilege of being her husband and twice blessed to be the father of our daughters Emma and Eden. Fran leaves a heritage in this world that will make a difference in Jesus name Amen and Amen.

I am so very sad with you, Ed. I wrote about my friendship with Fran here on my blog:

I will be praying for you and the girls in the coming weeks and months as you learn to live without Fran.

Fran will always hold a very special place in my heart. She was a good friend to me...and I'm so thankful for the time I did get to spend with her. What a beautiful lady...and I am honored that the Lord allowed me to know her in this lifetime.

  12. Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."

"Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Revelation 14:13

Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death." Isaiah 57:2

Thank you Jesus for being our righteousness.

  19. Dear Ed & Girls,
I thank my God for the privilege of getting to pray for Fran. I'll always remember the Fall of 2008, when my dear friend JoAnn and I were praying for Fran to receive a good report from her scan or check up and how we were overjoyed when she posted her message that all was clear! And then the awesome blessing of the new addition to your family. Your light shines. Fran you are more than a conqueror. Sympathy to the Konick family. Suzanne Cole

  20. I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful Fran. My heart breaks for you and your precious girls!

My youngest son Christian passed away almost 2 years ago. I know our pains are different, but what we share is the same HOPE in Jesus Christ. Turn to Him, cry to Him, share your heart, frustration, everything with Him! While the road has not been easy, I can testify that God has been faithful to me and I promise He will be faithful to you.

Please know that friends in Texas are praying for y'all.

    Fight for JOY!

  21. I have only meet Fran and you through this blog but feel blessed that you have allowed me into your lives. The ordeal that Fran went through with you by her side is inspiring to all of us that followed your lives these past few years. My faith in Christ is stronger by your witness. Thank you and I hope I will have the honor of meeting you both in heaven. May God bless you and your girls. I will continue to pray for you.

    Dear Ed,
I am so very sorry for the hurt and pain. I remember the time Suzanne was talking about and how we were so excited that the scan came back clear. I think you all went on vacation right about that time.

Fran looks so beautiful in this picture.
This has to be my favorite videos on the entire internet. Whoops, I don't see a way to hyperlink. So here it is: It's so worth watching! You'll be blessed and comforted.
I'm continuing to pray for you and your sweet daughters. Emma is an amazing little girl! So thankful she is grasping on to the hope that is hers in Christ Jesus!
